Jekyll Island Shore

Here's another from Jekyll Island. This was taken before the dune shot I posted yesterday. I thought it was interesting how the reflected sunrise played with the moving water in the surf. Shot on a tripod - f/11 at 1 second.

  1. I'm a sucker for sunrises and sunsets. Beautiful muted colors and love the soft look from the longer exposure.

  2. I like the lines in the sand and as the water rushing out in the background right before the next wave as it approaches. All that with the "soft look" makes for a nice shot.

  3. Very good image. The composition with the repeating elements of the sky and water is great. Your use of a 1 second shutter speed softened and blurred everything just the right amount. And, of course, the light is wonderful.

    Really fine image, Steve.
