Bishop's Palace HDR

Photo above of Bishop's Palace was taken in late January in Galveston. This was part of the shoot where I wanted to get an image to donate to the Family Service Center auction in February. I ultimately chose a color image with a less HDR look. This one was taken early on in the shoot; 5 bracketed exposures merged with Photomatix Pro, shot wide angle from the front sidewalk at 12mm. I'm comparing Photomatix with Nik's new HDR Efex Pro software, so I'm searching my files for brackets ... I'll be posting some results in the coming weeks.

  1. Steve, my experience so far has been that HDR Efx is much easier to use than Photomatix and therefore allows me to get better results. FWIW.
