Dangerous

  1. This is great! I love the colors and the movement and the depth of field and the spikes! The square format is really nice and the diagonals lead the eye from the upper left soft and light area to the dark and dangerous lower right. The purple tones and spikes make this look like it could be a thistle but I would not be surprised it if is some kind of soft, pretty flower --- what is it?

  2. The square crops are part of the selective focus floral series I've been doing for the last year or two. I'm going through my files deleting stuff and when I run across something interesting I'll do a quick edit, crop it square and put it up on the blog. Not sure... this is probably a thistle with a purple piece of tissue paper behind it.
